wired noises when in park
Is it bad when im on lunch at work and leave my car on in park for an hour and just sitting in it. It makes a wired noises to.
35×12.5′s with 3" lift?
anyone run 35x12.5's with a 3" lift? rear will prob work, curious about front.
Check out a Hilux today
Went to check out a hilux today and was disapointed to find out that they dont offer a 4X4 version or diesel here in Mexico. Quite frankly for the approx 22K cost id rather have the fully loaded 2012 TRD 4X4 that they sell here for 32K tax tag and title or better yet just keep my 2007. Also i dont see what everyone gets all excited about -- the Hilux is a nice truck but here its offered as bare bones work truck. All metal bed and a full box frame as everyone know is a good thing but its just not worth the 22K.
I did go over to nissan and checked out their NP300 (Diesel, 4X4) which is at about the same 22K but with diesel and 4X4
For right now ill stick with the tacoma until i find out what is up with my contract or will I be relocated elsewhere on this planet. Still I might get me the nissan to beat up on mountain biking trips or trips down to Oaxaca, Veracruz and the beach and give the Tacoma to my wife and use it as the primary vehicle. The front suspension on the NP300 is kindof funky with little travel but its a bare bones work truck with the =4X4 engaged via a stick (old school). The NP300 here in MX is the sacred cow -- ive seen them so loaded to the gills you'd think the frame will just crack. I love the bed too -- old school latches and tie-downs. Sorry for the crappy vid

Dont know a thing about lifts and big wheels
I'm thinking about lifting my Tacoma for a new look. It's an 06 base model 2.7 engine. Dont know anything about lifts or bigger wheels. I dont want a crazy high lift I want a clean simple lift and a nice pair of wheels that wont leave a big gap between the wheel and the truck. Need some advice thanks.
Opinions on new shifter knob
Hey everyone, just got and installed a new shifter knob today. Kinda on the fence about it. I think it looks ok. But it def has a better feel than the stock due to the fact that it is smaller. What do y'all think?

It seams like alot of peeps are looking at my previous post, but no direction. Not sure why, but here it goes again. I have a 09 base model regular cab 4wd tacoma. I would like to replace the bench seat currently in the truck with some after market seats. Just don't know how to deal with the air bag wiring in the factory seats..... The new seats are looking like a race style bucket seat if this helps.

Problems – Code PO456
Hey folks...
Got a check engine light with the "Trac off" light this afternoon. Put my code tracker on it and got a PO456. When I turn the truck off I hear a hissing in the engine compartment as though its releasing pressure on something. Truck has less than 2400 miles on it. Called the dealer - in on Monday.
Any idea? Fuel system leak, O2 sensor, gas cap?

bad fitting weathertechs 2012 DC
Hello
very disappointed in the fit of the weathertechs for my 2012 DC. I cant put the driver or passenger side seats all the way back with out it pulling up the rear mat. Seems like they forgot to cut a much needed notch. Also the passenger side mat dimensions are a little off - a little too wide. It doesnt sit correctly. My 2007 set fit like a glove. This sucks.
