I traded in my car for a 2012 Tacoma Access Cab with TRD Sport Package. So far I'm loving it! I'm expecting to be keeping this for a long time as it is my girlfriend's all-time favorite truck and I'm doing the right thing to make her happy.

I got bitten by the modbug in my previous ride and I'm insanely itchin' to not scratch that bug into the Tacoma. Trying and trying to keep her stock at least for a few thousand miles. My finances are helping me from modding :p.

Now, I probably shouldn't be asking questions in this thread, but is there anything that's recommended as an early preventative measure(ie. security accessories, common faults, keep an eye out for ___)? I already expected the gas mileage to be ridiculous, but I gotta keep the AC running especially during the summer.

Hi everyone. I recently picked up an 07 quad cab, long bed. I can never leave anything I own alone and I'm sure this will be the same. I have an Eaton M90 supercharger that I am gonna try to install. I've been looking around to see if anything like this has been tried but all I have found is the usual TRD or UDR. But not finding information on something hasn't burst my bubble before. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I just bought a new 2012 Tacoma with the V6 and 5 speed auto trans ACCESS cab. It replaced a 2001 that burnt up in a fire in my building and I lost allot of great things incl. a collector car. Don't want to even think about it----- anyway I want to put the Warn 8000 and it looks like Mile Marker mounts are out there. I had a Warn mount before and it was good but the paint had to be redone. So I have questions: Is this a good mount? I can't find the dipstick for the auto trans does it have one? The manual doesn't show anything. The salesmen told me the V6 doesn't need the valves adjust but the book shows they need done at 60K. What about the timing belt or chain???? I just was comfortable with the 2001 and now I have to do it all over again!!!!! It's a great truck, so it seems and I'm sure I'll like it but it's not worth losing all the stuff I lost. I've learned that insurance is good but it only makes misery less stressful.

Hello - My son turned me on to this forum. I've been lurking for awhile now. After reading the thread on the rear view mirror bracket mod, I joined to purchase one.

The Tacoma in my avatar is the 5th Tacoma I've owned.

Hey all, just a quick post to introduce myself. Just picked up my new 2012 PreRunner TSS SR5 Nav Double Cab in Pyrite Mica. I've had it a week and already the add-ons have begun....Pop & Lock Tailgate lock and an Undercover Flip bed topper. Who knows what will be next :D.
