Rear Lift Help
So a while back I installed a 2.5" spacer lift to my truck and left the back stock (no tsb spring). The rear sags a little bit so I'm wanting to get the back level via AAL. Any suggestions as far as 1.5" or 2"? Good brands? I'm wanting the truck to be level, and don't want the rear higher than the front. Thanks!

1 Hour Spring Clamps
I don't know if this MOD has appeared here before , but no matter,
after building a leaf pack or doing an AAL its always a good idea to add a little "sidewall" support.. Now most if not all clamps are done at the factory by way of drilling a hole & driving a huge ass rivett thru the clampbase & thru the spring/overload sometimes tension by way of a hole drilled thru top of clamp with a nut & bolt....
These things seem to loosen up around the rivett in not much time allowing it to add to the other rattles & noises that drive us all batshit after awhile...
So I came up with a cheap clamp MOD that so far seems to be holding up out there in the dez being mobbed by a couple guys I turned loose with them a few weeks back.
Now I know this could be done alot cleaner, & alot prettier but that just ain't how we roll at OMD . (well, sometimes we're pretty:D)
With a little 7/16" galvanized all-thread, a handful of nuts & washers, some 3/16" flat steel , we're going to help keep the leafs in place on the cheap...but cheap = shit if it doesn't work right ?....

Add-a-leaf recommendations?
I'm looking at getting rid of the 2" blocks on the back of my truck & replacing them with 2" add-a-leafs. It has the non-TSB leafs. Any recommendations? Long or short? Brand? I just bought a set of 0-1.5" 5100's to go on there.
Let’s see pics of those OME Lifts!!
I am thinking of getting an OME lift and wanted to see what people's trucks look like.
putting TRD shocks on a non TRD truck questions
I have a 2002 tacoma v6 4x4 extracab that the shocks are shot 160km on them ...
i seen this for sale
Front TRD coilovers and rear shocks. Were removed at about 60k miles when an aftermarket lift was installed. Should fit 95.5 to 04 Tacoma (removed from 04 extracab). $75ono
I think they will fit but want to make sure.
will this give me any lift ?
are the trd shocks bilstein, how will i tell ?

Mild Lift
Wanting a mild lift for my '11 DCLB SR5 PreRunner. I have searched and read probably dozens of threads now, and just looking for more confirmation if this setup is good. I know, I know
:deadhorse:
Would like to stay with a mild lift (1.5"-2") due to cost, I never offroad, and my daily commute is 70/day (so mileage is an issue), and would like to stay away from needing other parts like UCA's. I also really want to keep my ride as soft as possible. The only heavy lifting will be towing a 17' bass tracker in the future, and the occasional dirtbike in the back going to the desert.
What are your thoughts on the following lift:
- Billies all around, set at 0 for the front.
- Eibach springs for the front.
- Rear spring TSB.
- Keeping stock OR wheels, and upgrading tires from stock 245s to 265/75/16.
- Alignment.
I think this would give me about 1.5" lift in the front, and maybe 1" in the rear, correct? Would I be sitting nose high when towing the boat?
Also, how much do you think all of this will cost me? I will most likely take it to a shop to do it all (except the dealer will do the TSB and alignment).
I really like the soft ride sitting stock now, but would like to get a little lift for looks, but don't want to regret stiffening the ride too much just for looks.

Bilstein vs. OME
I am trying to decide if I want to get Bilstein's on all 4's with adjustable Coilovers or OME setup. I am going to be putting a heavy bumper on at some point so I know I will need HD springs. Any thoughts?
Another "Lift advice?" thread
Basically want to level my truck.
What I have:
06 4x4 TRD OR about 60Kmiles
Stock rear leafs (no TSB)
265 75 16 tires
Dont get off road unless I get impatient and jump a curb. Dont have to haul much.
Daily driver
Found a good shop to do the work. When I measure the top of the wheel opening at the center of the wheel the front is about 35 3/8, and the rear is about 37 1/2. It looks like 1.75 should be about right on the front Bilstien 5100s. Is there any benefit to replacing the rear shocks as well?
Appreciate any input.

Coilover Mount Bearing Help
I have Donahoe racing (now icon) coilovers on my 05 taoma, Found that my squeak problem was coming from the bearing where the CO mounts to the LCA. Where can I get replacement bears and is it had to replace them, im guessing you just press them in/out.
Thanks

OME 882 Coils + OME 90004
Hi new here to the forums.
Ive got a 99 taco with all stock suspension and just threw on a custom bumper (about 100lbs) and on top of that a 60 pound winch. As you can probably imagine my tires are eating my fenders. Would OME 882 coils and OME 90004 shock combo be a favorable solution?
I've been searching through the forums for a few days, but none of the other threads quite give me what Im looking for.
Thanks!
