I am looking at goodyear duratrac's 31x10.5R15 and the BFG All terrain K/O, same size. which should i go with and why? If anyone has a set they are not using that are used but not abused that they'd like to sell or get rid of I'd gladly have them.

I've owned my 2011 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara for a year now. I'm trying to find a good starting point on what wheel/tires sizes, brands, etc... to get. Looking for a setup to do some weekend type off roading, but still be able to drive to work on a daily basis. Any advice on where to start?!

Currently have 5 33" BFG All terrains(4 need to be replaced badly, spare has never seen pavement but was bought at time the other 4 were purchased 6 years ago) on 15" American racing ugly chrome wheels. My question is: Do I really want to pony up the dough for 5 new BFG Mud terrains(which I really like) or just stick with the All terrains and utilize the spare in the mix. Also, I want some sort of black rims to go along with the new tires. Havent ran across any rim I particulalry love. Any suggestions on that front?

I am new to the Jeep thing. I just bought my first one this past week. It has a 2" spring spacer lift and a 1" body lift with 15x8 American Racing steel rims and 33x12.50 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. I am wanting to change out the rims and put some 15x10 aluminum rims on it. I want to see if anybody could post pictures of your Jeep with about the same setup and backspacing of your wheels. I don't do much wheeling so I don't have to worry about flexing and rubbing. If you could post some pictures I would surely appreciate it.

has anyone ever bought tires from amazon? i found some duratracs and i have some open credit on my store card and was thinking about using it. i just wanted to know if anyone had experience dealing with amazon since they are not really a tire dealer.

Would I have any problems running LT245/85R16 Goodrich AT KO's on the stock 16 x 6.5 rims on my Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I know they won't rub or anything, I just don't know much about how it would affect the gearing with my 3.21 rear end compared to the stock P225/75R16 tires that came on it.

Would it be considered poor taste to get Mickey Thompson Classic II black wheels and put maxxis big horn tires on them? I'm not sure if there is some kind of taboo about putting tires of a different brand on MT wheels.

So I decided to call my local offroad tire dealer today to find out how much it was going to cost for me to replace my tires (36x15.50x15's), I was aware that the Dick Cepeks were no longer going to be made for the 15" rim anymore but whoa was I in for a surprise when the guy told me that I couldn't get a 15.50 period for a 15" wheel anymore!!!

Evidently Super Swamper will be releasing a tire that will accommodate me for off road use but it looks like I will be stretching 13.50's on my rims for the duration for radials.

Anyone have any more information on this situation?

I've been looking at cooper discoverer stt's, and Mickey thompson baja claws radials. What do you guys think I should choose?

I really like the look of these tires and they seem like they would wear better than super swampers as they would be going on my DD with going off-road about twice a month. Any help is appreciated! :dance:
