Purchased this vehicle for my 16-year old son in November from a Toyota dealer in Texas. I have decided that this is not a vehicle he should be driving, given the difficulty for a new driver to deal with the blind spots inherent in the vehicle's design. Current mileage approximately 29,000 miles. Selling price is $24,995.

A little history on the car, its an 08' Titanium Metallic 4x4 with an Automatic transmission. I bought it in January 2010 with 17k miles, Toyota CPO with the extended warranty 5yr/100,000k or until 2015. I'm pretty sure the warranty is transferable. I will look into that. For options, It's loaded and has the following packages from the factory CQ and UR. This is my daily driver but i don't commute with it so it currently only has 38,9xx miles. It is in excellent shape and very well maintained, never abused if anything it's been babied.

I did the 30k service at around 24k miles. I replaced the front, rear and transfer case fluids with Amsoil synthetic differential oil. I use Royal Purple w5-30 synthetic motor oil @ every 5k miles. I had the transmission flushed at 36k by the local Toyota dealer. Complete brake job done less then 1500 miles ago. This FJ really doesn't need anything and its ready for off-roading. Sadly, the only off road i've done with this is some beach driving the past couple summers that i've owned it.

This is a thread I'd never imagine I would be having to create, but with the condition of buying a new house,
The funds just don't allow me to keep this anymore (that hurts to say because I love this thing!).
I actually have full intentions of getting another once I'm settled in... but this is unfortunately one of the steps I have to take for now.

2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser | Sandstorm | 6 speed manual | FJammer | A-Trac | Lockers | Full-time 4WD

Currently has 45,300 miles on the odometer and that will slowly increase as I drive this daily.
Condition of the body and interior is a 9/10. VERY minor scratches here and there outside give it a 9/10.
The interior is a 9.5/10 being nearly perfect. No wear on anything, just some small spots of black from hauling tires in the back on the top of the liner.

My FJ currently books between $24,911 to $25,611 in stock form.

I'm selling my "original owner" 2007 FJ Cruiser. Automatic, 47,150 original miles, 4 wheel drive, Black Diamond, regular gas, always stored inside under a car cover. Includes all of Toyots's best options packages. The only difference with the 2012 FJ is the engine now has about 41 more horse power. My additional options include, Bushwacker flares, cold air intake, Borla dual exhaust, real steel rock rails/running boards, 20" custom rim's with 33" toyo MT tires. Electric brake controller for trailer brakes.Kicker speakers a total of 16 which includes 2 -10" sub woofers in custom speaker boxes, 4 mid range & 4 tweeters in a custom box mounted on the rear door. Kicker 3 channel 1000 max output amp to power all speakers. Limo tint windows all around, except the front which is 15% added.
NADA used retail value is $24,000 without any of the additional options that I added. I've invested about $12,000 in aftermarket options, used value of about $3-$4000.
So were talking fair market used value of $27-$28,000 for which I have invested over $45,000 since 2007. This SUV is in superb condition, the only thing that it needs is a new little rubber trim piece around the base of the radio antenna. I'll deduct $100 for that. Cost is maybe $2.99.

Just bought a gen-2 X and reluctantly decided to sell my 2000 after it ate a head gasket.

138K with new brakes, new alternator, belts, new front end work (torsions, ball joints, etc), new Yoko Geolander 32's (less than 500 miles on them...), new Interstate battery, extremely clean body and cabin (which makes this even harder to part with). Truck is red w/grey interior. Again, needs head gasket. If you've read my previous threads, you know my saga - overtemped and I pulled off and loaded it on a flat bed and it now has classic head gasket symptoms of white smoke.....

I like this truck better than my new 2005....but it is what it is.

No accident history or mechanical issues during the truck's lifetime. I always fueled the truck with premium-octane (recommended by Toyota) and I have documentation of regular servicing, always at authorized Toyota service centers.

The vehicle is still covered by several transferable warranties through Toyota and Fidelity Insurance:
Toyota transferable (no-cost) warranties include Drive Train, Emissions and Corrosion. Fidelity warranty covers tires and wheels until late October 2012.
This truck is great on trails/beaches, and on the freeway it boasts an impressively smooth (and quiet!) ride.

I was deployed to Afghanistan during all of 2011, and the truck was stored in a climate-controlled garage and run once a month to keep fresh.

In addition to minimal wear and some hardly noticeable scratching on the doors/panels. While taking pictures for this post, I noticed that the satellite radio antennae left a mark on roof... I guess if you hang out with 7 foot tall friends, they might notice it. Some very small scratches on the rear window tint are covered by the 35 inch spare tire (I only notice them through the rear view mirror). Also some scratches along front bumper where I used to display a front license plate. I removed the Gobi rack's 2 rearward facing PIAA 2100XT lights- - they were illegal when I was driving the truck in Virginia. I also removed the original premium sub woofer as it was a drain on auxiliary power.

CARFAX report (available on request) quotes the truck at $370 over KBB's quoted price ($25,835), and given the after market mods I'm asking $28,000 in cashiers check or wire transfer. Title & paperwork is ready to be signed over upon cleared payment..

This is almost the TRD edition. The special label edition badge is about the only thing missing (and the Bilstein's). I bought every possible option I could!
